Accelerate the innovation in 5G satellite networks and ground equipment (user terminals and gateway infrastructure) and ultimately help operators provide better connectivity for communities around the world. It includes the definition and prioritization of use cases that operators need in production environments. Each use case requires a mapping with an end-to-end data flow to identify the functional and interface requirements for the TRANTOR NOC and user equipment. Current standards may not have all the parameters needed for these use cases, so we will define, in the appropriate standards fora, the interfaces to support the realistic operational scenarios defined in the project. The TRANTOR framework will deal with a development of satellite devices and current payloads and provide a solution a medium-term deployment.
